Ridgely D. Miller Jr. in the 1944 Corks and Curls
Ridgely Duncan Miller, Jr. (July 14, 1922 in Anniston, Alabama – May 4, 1978)[1][2] was the manager of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1943-1944 season, and was also a member in 1941-42, 1942-43, and 1946-1947. In addition to the Glee Club, during his time at the University of Virginia he was in Alpha Tau Omega, Lambda Pi, Pi Delta Epsilon, the German Club, the Corks and Curls staff, and the College Topics staff, where he served as managing editor in 1943-44. He also edited the publication of the Navy ROTC, the Dog Watch Review. He lived in 33 West Lawn[3] in 1943–1944.
By his last year at the University he had joined the US Navy ROTC. He served in the Navy, attaining the rank of Lieutenant, and received his discharge in 1945.
