Robert Alan Buckingham, (born May 27, 1926 in Kashing, China – December 29, 2006),[1][2] of Newport News, Virginia, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1947-1948, 1948-1949, and 1949-1950 seasons. Graduating in 1951 with an engineering degree, he was also a member of Delta Upsilon, Trigon, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Engineers' Club, the National Speleological Society, and the University Band.[3]
Buckingham served in the United States Navy during World War II.[2][4]
