Robert Edward Lee Marshall (August 11, 1873 in Baltimore, Maryland – October 25, 1962)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1891-1892 and 1892-1893 seasons[3]. A student in the academic department during the season, he was also a member of Chi Phi, T.I.L.K.A., the Z Society, an associate editor of College Topics, and the catcher of the baseball team.[4]
Marshall's father, Colonel Charles Marshall, was Robert E. Lee's chief of staff. He served in the Cuban War as a first lieutenant in the Fifth Regiment, Volunteers.[5] He later served as the city solicitor for the town of Baltimore.[1]
