Robert F. Mapes (May 14, 1925 in Shaker Heights, Ohio – November 29, 1999)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1946-1947 season. Graduating in 1949, he was also a member of Phi Delta Theta, the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, Skull and Keys, and the Student Union.[3]
Mapes served in the United States Army during World War II, rising to the rank of Sergeant.[2]
