Robert Harold Gammon (January 7, 1924 in Pulaski, Virginia – April 11, 2013) was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1946-1947, 1947-1948 and 1948-1949 seasons. He lived in 9 West Range in 1948–1949. Graduating in 1949, he was also a member of Alpha Phi Omega, the Y.M.C.A., the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, the Virginia Spectator staff, and the Riding Club, and was the treasurer of the Student's Independent Party.
Prior to the University of Virginia, Gammon attended Virginia Military Institute and Emory and Henry College. He served in the 15th Air Force in Italy during World War II, and was awarded the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf clusters for service in combat. He worked for the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges for more than thirty years.
