Ross Sanner Mickey (born September 17, 1917 in Portage, Pennsylvania)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1935-1936, 1936-1937, and 1937-1938 seasons. He was a third year during the 1937-1938 season,[2] and graduated in 1939. He was also a member of Sigma Chi and on the staff of College Topics, and in St. Paul's Choir and the Student Assembly.[3]
During World War II, Mickey was a pilot in the Marine Corps Night Fighters. Theirs were the first radar equipped planes that could attack the enemy at night. He served in the Pacific Theater.[4]
