Russell "Rusty" Speidel, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1979-1980 and 1980-1981 seasons. Graduating in 1982, he was also a member of the Virginia Gentlemen.[1] He formed the band Speidel, Goodrich, Goggin, & Lille (SGGL) with other Glee Club members.
