The 1960 Spring Concert of the Virginia Glee Club was conducted by David Davis as part of the Glee Club 1959-1960 season. Held March 22, 1960 in Old Cabell Hall, the concert featured the Longwood College Choir (conducted by John Molnar) and the Madrigal Singers of Longwood College as guests. The concert featured the premiere of "Early Rising," a composition by Philip Slates, as well as a performance of Davis's "Tudor Moods."
