Student Activity Funds, funded by Student Activity Fees collected from University of Virginia students, are funds that are available to support the activities of student groups at UVa. Disbursed by the Allocations Committee of Student Council, the SAF allocation represented a portion of the Virginia Glee Club's budget from the institution of the practice in the 1970s through the 1990s before the group's eventual defunding.
In 1978, Student Activity Funds represented 2% of the Glee Club's budget.[1]
