The "Borated" Song-Book was an early 20th century Virginia song book containing songs of the University of Virginia and compiled by Morgan Poitiaux Robinson, alias "Uncle Bory."[1] Robinson, who also authored The Burning of the Rotunda: Being a Sketch of the Partial Destruction of the University of Virginia, 1895,[2] was the state archivist of Virginia.

The songbook is 12 pages long and includes song texts but not music. The date of publication is unknown. Robinson was a student at the University in 1895, but due to severe illness was absent from the University from 1896 to 1902. Returning in 1903, his alumnus date is 1908, so the book was likely compiled sometime between 1903 and 1910.
