The Testament of Freedom was a 1943 radio broadcast transcription recording by the Virginia Glee Club. Released on Columbia Recording Corporation as no. 32337, the three-record set presents the radio broadcast of the 1943 Founder's Day Concert in which the title work, Randall Thompson's The Testament of Freedom, was premiered by the Glee Club under the direction of Stephen Tuttle.
The recording was issued as a three-record 78RPM (12") set on vinyl, rather than shellac.[1] The Glee Club sold the records in August 1943 as a fundraiser.[2]
