Thomas Burchett, Jr. (April 27, 1926 in Ashland, Kentucky – July 8, 1970)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1945-1946, 1946-1947, 1947-1948, 1948-1949, and 1949-1950 seasons. Graduating in 1950, he was also a member of the Debating Team, the Square and Compass Club, and Delta Sigma Rho.[3]
Prior to entering the University of Virginia, Burchett entered military service in 1944 and received a medical discharge in 1946.[1] He was a member of the Masons, and served as the grand master of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky.[2][4]
