Thomas Stevens George, 1939 Corks and Curls

Thomas Stevens George (February 9, 1918 – May 7, 2009),[1] of Towson, Maryland, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1936-1937 season. He graduated from the University with an architecture degree in 1939, and was a member of Kappa Alpha and Scarab.[2] His University of Virginia Magazine obituary reads:

Mr. George worked in Baltimore as an architect before moving to Puerto Rico, where he worked on construction of the U.S. Naval Air Station there. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. In 1950, he moved to Salisbury, Md., where he worked with Malone and Williams, Architects, and then Victor W. Buhr and Associates. He established the architectural engineering firm George, Miles & Buhr. Mr. George was a member emeritus of the American Institute of Architects.[3]
