Trigon is an engineering honor society founded at the University of Virginia in 1924.[1] Originally founded as a student political society in the Engineering School, it expanded its focus to add fraternal and service activities in 1925.
Trigon's initial meetings were held in 17 West Lawn, and its headquarters remains there. The room was denoted the Trigon Room by the University in 1966 in recognition of the work of the society.
