Reynolds, 1942 Corks and Curls

Walker Reynolds, Jr. (March 30, 1916 in Anniston, Alabama – May 17, 2001)[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1936-1937 season. Completing his medical degree in 1942, he was also a member of Beta Theta Pi, Lambda Pi, the German Club, Nu Sigma Nu, and the swimming and tennis teams.[2][3] He lived in 4 East Range[4] in 1937–1938 and in 20 East Range[4] sin 1940–1941.

Reynolds served in World War II, and built an underground medical aid station in Iwo Jima. He invented surgical staples, and held eight patents and invented 42 different surgical procedures.[1]
