Wade Blackard (July 16, 1896 in Jackson, Tennessee – January 19, 1953)[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1916-1917 season. He was a first year student during the season, and was also a member of Alpha Chi Rho.[3]
Blackard entered the foreign service and was appointed Vice Consul in Calgary in 1920 and in Singapore in 1921.[1] He subsequently entered the US Army. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.[2]
