William Byron Kerner

William Byron Kerner (October 20, 1928 in Kernersville, North Carolina – July 7, 2018)^[1] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1947-1948 and 1948-1949 seasons. Graduating in 1951, he was also a member of the Serpentine Club, Lambda Pi, and the P.K. Society.^[2]

Kerner served in the United States Navy following his graduation and then enrolled in Moravian Theological Seminary. He was pastor of Providence Moravian Church near Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and then returned to the United States Navy as a chaplain, retiring in 1982.^[1]
