William Morgan Chew (1904 - September 4, 1943), of Waynesboro, Virginia, was vice president of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1926-1927 season. A third year in 1926-1927, he was also a member of Phi Kappa Sigma, Skull and Keys, P.K. Society, Eli Banana, the Z Society, and was an adjunct manager of the basketball team.[1]
Graduating from the University of Virginia Department of Medicine in 1931, he was a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the American Academy of Opthalmology and Otolaryngology, and served on the staffs of Bellevue and St. Luke's Hospitals. He entered the medical corps of the US Naval Reserve as a lieutenant commander on June 24, 1942, and died while in service at Johns Hopkins Hospital.[2]
