William R. Rogers, 1967 Corks and Curls
William Reinhold Rogers, (May 12, 1945 in Salem, MA – September 12, 2024)[1] of Erie, Pennsylvania, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1963-1964, 1964-1965, 1965-1966, and 1966-1967 seasons. He was also a member of the Virginia Gentlemen, the Lawn Chowder and Marching Society, the Young Democrats, the YMCA, and the varsity soccer team.[2] He resided in 24 East Lawn[3] in 1966-1967.
Following his graduation from the University of Virginia, Bill moved to California where he received an MA in History and an MA in Teaching from Stanford University. After a career in elementary education, he earned an MS in Soil Science at Oregon State University and worked in the OSU Extension Service for 23 years.[1]
