William Romain Tyree (August 11 or 17, 1878 in Staunton, Virginia – November 1970)[1][2][3] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1904-1905 season.[4] A second year law student during the season, he was also a member of the gymnastics team.[5]
He was a practicing attorney in Staunton in 1906.[6] He served in the United States Army in World War I, rising to the rank of major.[3]
