William Smith Bean, Jr. (September 9, 1890 in Clinton, South Carolina – November 26, 1944), also known as "Cuffy" Bean, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1911-1912 season. A medical student at the University of Virginia, he was treasurer of his medical school class and was also a member of the South Carolina Club, the Pi Mu medical fraternity, and Pi Kappa Alpha. He also played the role of "Balloona, King of Turvyland" in the Arcadians musical Turvyland. He lived in 31 West Range in 1911–1912 and 66 East Range in 1912–1913.
