Winston Phelps, (July 10, 1907 in Melrose, Massachusetts – November 1988),[1][2] of Ridgewood, New Jersey, was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1926-1927 and the 1928-1929 seasons. A third year during the 1928-1929 season, he was also a member of Delta Upsilon and was on the lacrosse squad in 1928.[3]

Phelps was a journalist, employed in 1942 by the Providence Journal in Providence, Rhode Island. In 1931 he was awarded a Pulitzer Traveling Scholarship.[4]
